Synopsis :

'The Man with the Golden Gun' was the ninth film featuring the ultimate secret agent - James Bond - code number 007, but it was only the second to star Roger Moore. This time, he is the target of an expert and deadly assassin, Scaramanga, played by Christopher Lee, most famous for his portrayal of Dracula. All the perfect ingredients of a great Bond film are here - beautiful women, great chases, cars that turn into aeroplanes, and ingenious weapons.

Of course we always expect stunning locations in a Bond film, and in 'The Man with the Golden Gun', the most memorable location - Scaramanga's hideout- is Koh Tapu, in Phang Nga, Thailand. The lasting success of the film still attracts large numbers of tourists to the island, where it is now often referred to as 'James Bond Island'. Sadly, Roger Moore passed away earlier this year, but his suave and humorous portrayal of James Bond will always be remembered.

Recommendation :

Renee Zellweger must once again choose between the charms of Hugh Grant and Colin Firth in this hilarious yet thoughtful hit sequel.
